The 1st Annual Goodnow Flow BirdWalk

Mark your calendars for the Goodnow Flow BirdWalk on Saturday, August 10th starting at 8:30am at the Shadow Dam. This is a great opportunity ot learn birding from an accomplished birder, learn about birds at Goodnow Flow and meet other Flow members that share your interest.

Our Bird-Spotter guide is Professor Leslie Bostrom who has a great deal of experience leading groups of birders. Fortunatley for us she is also a Goodnow Flow resident. We will be moving around, so come in a vehicle (UTV, bike, car). Bring binoculars and a cell phone / camera for pictures.

Annual GFA Member Picnic

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be having our yearly picnic at the town beach this year.

For those still interested in gathering with your Goodnow Flow neighbors, the will be a BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC gathering at the Goodnow Flow Dam after the morning meeting. Everyone should bring their own picnic lunches, blankets, chairs, small tables or other items you would usually yake to your picnic. We do ask that you forgo using grills in this public space.

As always, please respect the woods and be sure to tidy up your area before you leave.
